Sunday Afternoon Classic Series
Classical Series for 2019/2020
This is our fourth season bringing you classical music in a listening room environment. Our four concert series starts in September and ends with an early January concert. Tickets can now be purchased for each individual concert online or at the Center.
Mercury Chamber Orchestra
October 13 - 2:30 pm
The concert on October 13th features the Mercury Chamber Orchestra in a program entitled “Vivaldi Baroque Extravaganza”. The Mercury Chamber Orchestra plays on period instruments and will include four violins, viola, cello, bass and harpsichord.
The D'Amour Duo
November 3 - 2:30 pm
The D’Amour Duo comes to our stage on November 3rd. William Feasley plays classical guitar accompanied by Emily Tsai on oboe. Emily has played in our series twice before as a member of WindSync.
Mix & Match
Soprano, Baritone Voice & Flute
January 5- 2:30 pm
Gabrielle Gilliam, soprano, was most recently the cover for Pamina in The Dallas Opera’s production of The Magic Flute. She has been engaged by TDO to perform a mainstage leading role in the 2020-2021 season.
Kayla Nanto, mezzo-soprano, sang the role of Suzuki in Madama Butterfly with Opera Fort Collins, Siébel in Faust, Petra in A Little Night Music, Flora in La Traviata, Angelina in La Cenerentola (Cinderella) and the title role in Carmen.
