Scarlet Diane has had a passion for crocheting for 45 years. She learned from both her Grandmothers. ” I learn to crochet lace from my mother’s mom and I learned to make crochet rugs from my dad’s mom”. She perfected her techniques with her cousins; her grandmothers had a very strong southern accent and her cousins could interpret for her helping her to understand all the instructions. From there she took off and has been doing it ever since. She has taught many people over the years. ” I feel like I’m better at teaching left handed people because I am right handed they see it in reverse which is the proper way for them to learn”. But she can teach anyone! Patience and understanding are her gifts, and she loves to share her passion. “I love to encourage people to have fun.
