Fran Leddy has been teaching music for 29 years. She grew up singing country music in a family band with her brothers to later become classically trained, receiving her bachelor’s degree of Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington. Fran continued her education receiving other certifications to teach, such as All-Level Special Education Certification, English Language Arts and Reading 8th – 12th, and All-Level Music. She also taught choir and resource reading in a high school setting for 10 years. Afterwards she exclusively concentrated on music to become the assistant choir director in a high school and junior high setting for another 11 years.

Her students successfully competed in the UIL Region, State Solo and Ensemble competitions and Texas All-State Choir competitions. Throughout her career she has directed women’s, men’s, children’s, and mixed choirs as well as small ensemble & church choirs. She is now teaching beginners piano, voice and directing WCA’s adult choir..
