Experience Cowboy Culture on The Bowery in Downtown Winnsboro
September 30, 2023
Winnsboro Center for the Arts
An exciting line-up of performers and events is planned for the 2023 Winnsboro Cowboy Music and Poetry Gathering. A chuckwagon will be on site in The Bowery Pedestrian Park from 9 AM to 4 PM serving traditional cowboy fare including beans, cornbread, and cobbler. The cooks have their own share of stories to tell about their travels on the trails. Visit the chuckwagon and then take a ride in a mule wagon, but beware of the “Outlaws” and their drover tents nearby. Costumed characters and interesting backdrops will make great photo opportunities throughout the day.
During the morning, the Cowboy Tales Art Exhibition is a must see. Also stop in and enjoy the free music and poetry sessions on The Bowery Stage.
The following restaurants will have “Cowboy Specials” on their menus throughout the day: Z’s Main Street Treats & Eats, Backstage Coffee Lounge, Pyke’s Pantry & Bistro, Sinclair Market, and The Barrel House Bar & Grill.
Most daytime activities are free. See the full schedule below and follow the link for concert tickets with internationally acclaimed performers.
