This 4-week workshop will be held on Saturday mornings beginning September 12th where you will receive personalized instruction in a small class setting limited to 4 students.
In this Introduction to Stained Glass (Copper Foil) Class, you will learn how to cut glass, use a grinder to grind glass, wrap glass pieces in copper foil, and solder pieces of glass together in order to form a final project. Along the way, you will also learn the proper procedure in placing glass within a pattern and clean the final project, as well as many tips and tricks in the process of creating stained glass artwork. The glass will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to choose colors to your liking for your final piece of artwork.

About Ashley…. she began learning about stained glass while working for Glass Castles Stained Glass Studio in Nacogdoches, TX. She worked in the shop for 3 years while attending college but sadly had to walk away from the craft when she moved back home to DFW. After moving to Winnsboro to be closer to family, she became a stay-at-home mom and started pursuing her love of art once more. She dove back into stained glass and wants to do her part to keep the craft alive and share her passion with her newfound community. We are proud to welcome Ashley to the WCA family!
