Enjoy Charles Dickens’ heartwarming story of Ebenezer Scrooge, in Leslie Bricusse’s adaptation; Scrooge – The Musical. Sing along as we follow Scrooge on his journey from curmudgeon to Christmas champion including songs, “I Hate People”, and “Thank You Very Much”.
Dancing at Lughnasa is a memory play told from the point of view of adult Michael Evans, as he recounts the summer in his aunts’ cottage when he was seven years old. Set in the summer of 1936, the play explores how youth and innocence can paint a very different picture of the reality around us. It is the story of five sisters as they optimistically welcome home their frail elder brother, Jack, who has returned from a life as a Catholic missionary in Africa. However, as the summer ends hope fades as societal pressures extinguishes all hope for the sisters’ future.
This production is a collaboration with Lake Country Playhouse in Mineola. Productions will be performed at both venues. Through this collaboration we intend to strengthen and grow the theater offerings available to audiences in the Northeast Texas area.

A Christmas Carol is an allegory about a penny-pinching misanthrope, Ebenezer Scrooge, who on Christmas Eve receives an unexpected visit from the spectre of his long-dead business partner. Jacob Marley warns Scrooge that three further spirits will haunt him. The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present, and The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come force Scrooge to confront the consequences of his actions. He is especially horrified by the hardship endured by the family of his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Scrooge’s chastening experiences have a salutary effect: the miser is redeemed and transformed.

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
