BLOOM 2026 is a celebration of spring running April 11–25, 2026. The BLOOM celebration is a multi-event experience composed of several distinctive gatherings. What began four years ago as a vision by local artist Chris Brown has grown into a vibrant community-wide event, now led by Winnsboro Center for the Arts (WCA).
For the fourth year WCA is proud to participate in Bloom with a flowery exhibit showing off the talents of over 30 local artists. You won’t want to miss this fun and creative exhibit. The exhibit will begin March 25th and be open throughout April.
During BLOOM 2026, in partnership with the Historical Museum, free Art & Heritage Walking Tours will take place Saturday mornings..
The tours will begin at the Historical Museum, 100 E Broadway St, and end in front of the new WCA Creative Learning Center. The tours will highlight 7 guest BLOOM artists in addition to Winnsboro’s rich and colorful history.

Artist Chris Brown has been commissioned to create an interactive sculpture for BLOOM 2026 which will serve as a focal point on The Bowery for everyone to enjoy.
While you are out shopping and eating out, take a walk on Bowery and ask for the “Locks of Love”.
This is an inaugural pickleball tournament, benefiting APET (Animal Preservation of East Texas).
Event Schedule
Join us for a fun, competitive weekend of pickleball while supporting a great local cause.
BLOOM will continue through April 24 with a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of WCA’s new Creative Learning Center at 3:00 pm.
Come our and enjoy the ceremony and then the guided tours of the center.

BLOOM keeps the celebration going on the evening of April 24 with The Art of Chris Brown Art Walk, featuring local galleries and businesses staying open late from 5–8 p.m.
Chris Brown will lead the Art Walk. LIVE music will follow on The Bowery for all visitors to enjoy while they shop.
BLOOM was created three years ago by talented local artist Christopher Brown to showcase his artwork and attract visitors. Chris envisioned an event that would not only benefit his own business but help to revitalize the businesses around him. The event quickly grew beyond Chris’s initial vision, allowing local businesses to display beautiful floral-themed art in windows, turning the entire town into a cultural attraction.
