CLASSES AT THE WCA!
The Winnsboro Center for the Arts is excited to offer a new lineup of classes in 2017. We now have Acting classes for pre-school children and Art (oils, acrylics, pastels), Music (guitar, keyboard, strings) and Yoga classes for adults and school-aged children.
ACTING CLASSES FOR ALL AGES
(Pre-school through high school)
Michael Jaynes will be teaching acting classes at the WCA for pre-school children (accompanied by a parent), as well as for elementary and high school-aged kids. Classes will be on Thursdays after school. Pre-school tots will meet at 9 a.m.

Board member Efton Edwards is currently teaching classes at the WCA. Efton is a local artist who works and teaches in oil, acrylic and watercolors.
Subject matter includes Composition, Color theory and Art Materials
Classes are on Mondays 9:00 AM - 12:00PM and 1:00 - 5:00 PM
and on Thursdays 12:00 - 6:00PM

New at Winnsboro Center for the Arts!
Winnsboro Center for the Arts will be offering lessons in cello, violin, and viola this fall. If you or your children are interested in learning to play one of these instruments, please contact Mary White at Winnsboro Center for the Arts (903-342-0686) or by email (MaryEWhite@comcast.net).
We are very fortunate to have Zander Smith, director of orchestras in the Sulphur Springs ISD, as one of our teachers this fall. Zander moved to Sulphur Springs in 2014 where he has been active in the community, conducting and playing with various organizations, in addition to his position in the schools.
Zander grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he studied both piano and cello as a child. He continued his studies in cello at the prestigious Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts. Zander has a Bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Nevada at Reno and a Masters degree in music education from the University of Northern Colorado.
Classes on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 PM
